Built for UK earners,
not accountants
Free, honest calculators that tell you exactly where your money goes — updated every tax year.
Our story
CashCalcHub started as a frustration. Every salary calculator we tried was either outdated, buried the numbers in jargon, or required you to sign up for something. We wanted something fast, accurate and honest — so we built it.
We're a small independent team based in the UK, obsessed with making personal finance as transparent and understandable as possible. No subscriptions. No paywalls. No dark patterns. Just straightforward tools, supported by clearly labelled advertising and affiliate links.

Our principles
🎯 Accuracy first. Our tax calculations use current HMRC rates and thresholds for the 2026/27 tax year, including income tax bands, NI rates, Scottish tax rates, student loan thresholds and pension rules. We review and update every calculator at the start of each tax year in April.
🔒 Privacy by default. All calculations happen entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We never transmit, store or have access to any financial figures you enter. What you type stays on your device — full stop.
📖 Plain English. We explain every result clearly, with context about what the numbers mean and — where relevant — what you can do to improve your position. Finance shouldn't require a degree to understand.
💡 Transparent about how we earn. CashCalcHub is free to use, supported by advertising and affiliate links. When you click a link to a financial product, we may earn a small commission at no cost to you. Our calculator results, editorial content and recommendations are never influenced by commercial relationships. Affiliate links are always clearly labelled.
Sources and methodology
Our calculations are based on:
- HMRC — income tax rates, NI thresholds, personal allowance, Scottish rates
- Student Loans Company — repayment thresholds and rates
- ONS — median salary, inflation and net worth benchmarks
- Bank of England — base rate and mortgage rate data
